We are a community organization funded entirely by contributions from Capitol Hill neighbors, business owners, and friends. We support activities, projects, and groups that enrich the lives of residents and celebrate the history and beauty of our community.

The Foundation awards grants in support of programs that benefit residents of the Capitol Hill neighborhood.
Tell us about your big ideas! We fund large Innovation Grants along with Fall & Spring Grants.
Our Innovation Grants of $5,000 to $15,000 are designed to encourage Capitol Hill organizations to undertake bold new and innovative programs, expand existing ones, and serve new audiences. We award a handful of Innovation Grants each year along with hundreds of Fall and Spring Grants of up to $3,000. See the full description, and use the Fall and Spring Grant application form to apply. Remember to indicate that you are applying for an Innovation Grant.

Saturday, October 19
Join your neighbors for this festive annual event comprising dinner parties held at more than two dozen homes across Capitol Hill, all on one evening. Each dinner will feature food and fun related to a specific book, followed by dessert and drinks for all attendees at Hill Center. All proceeds go directly to the Foundation’s grants to neighborhood schools.
